Ky Dai (The Flag Tower) is one of the cultural symbols of Hue Ancient Capital, an architectural relic of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The “Photo exhibition of the images of Ao dai featured on postage stamps” will take place from August 27 to September 2 at Kodo Café (No. 36 – 38 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen, Huong Long Ward, Hue City) on the occasion of Vietnam Stamp Day (August 27).

While Hue Imperial City and the mausoleums of the Nguyen emperors are remnants of a far-off dynasty, the old quarters of Bao Vinh and Gia Hoi are the unfaded imprints of inhabitants’ life of the ancient capital.

From July 24 to 27, the 2023 Southeast Asia Youth Camp takes place at Nguyen Hue High school, Hue City. This is the first time that the Southeast Asia Youth Camp has been held in Vietnam.

In the framework of the XIV Contest for Selecting Excellent Students of Gifted High school in the Coastal and Northern Delta regions in 2023 held in Thai Nguyen in 2 days from July 15 to 16, Hue Quoc Hoc High school for the Gifted won 28 medals and prizes.

After two archaeological excavations of the National Relic of Mount Ban (An Tay Ward, Hue City), experts have discovered a number of vestiges and relics that contribute to confirming that this place is where Nguyen Hue set up Nam Giao Esplanade to sacrifice to “heaven and earth” before ascending the throne. Also, according to the latest archaeological information, experts recommend turning this relic into a special national relic.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of operation, Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum (144 Dang Thai Than street, Hue City) opened an additional space associated with the heroic General of Hue: the General’s working shack.

On the morning of July 7, Hue Monuments Conservation Center coordinated with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to organize an incense and flower offering ceremony, and a procession of gratitude to the ancestor on the occasion of the death anniversary of Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, the person who laid the foundation of Ao dai Vietnam. This is one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2023, and within the framework of the Autumn Festival’s activities.

Together with Thieu Phuong, Ngu Vien, Hau Ho gardens, and Truong Ninh Palace, Co Ha Garden is one of the well-known royal gardens of Hue Ancient Capital in the Nguyen Dynasty.
