Special art program to welcome the New Year 2025
HNN.VN - According to information from the People’s Committee of Hue City, the art program titled Hue Countdown - Happy New Year 2025 will take place from 8:30 pm on December 31, 2024, to 1:00 am on January 1, 2025 at the intersection of To Huu and Vo Nguyen Giap Streets in Hue City.

To ensure the program runs smoothly, the Hue City People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Culture and Information to take the lead and collaborate with Ultra Larita Co., Ltd. to finalize the detailed script and content of the program, while also overseeing the event’s organization. Additionally, the committee should send official letters to relevant agencies, including the Provincial Urban Development and Investment Project Management Board, the Project Management Board for the Development of Type II Urban Areas (Green Cities) (SCDP II), the Provincial Power Company, and the Military Command to ensure proper support, and permissions compliant with regulations.
Held annually since 2020, this program has become a signature tourism product and a comprehensive art event marking the end of the 2024 Hue Festival, welcoming the New Year 2025. It reflects the ongoing and continuous spirit of the Hue Festival. The Countdown - Happy New Year 2025 program this year also holds a special significance in celebrating the elevation of Hue to a centrally-governed municipality and the division of Hue into two districts: Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa.
