Hai Van Gate is known as "world’s most majestic gate", located at an altitude of nearly 500m right at the top of Hai Van Pass. Once served as the military defense for the Hue Citadel, this defensive cluster was built under the Nguyen Dynasty in such a critical position to control the North-South road and Da Nang Bay.

Located in the central part of Vietnam, Hue is an ideal destination to learn about history, culture, and long-standing traditional values. Once the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty for many centuries, Hue, despite various upheavals, has still preserved its ancient features, monumental architectural works, and sophisticated, beautiful artworks with special historical-cultural values.

On May 30, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had a working session with the Commercial Department – Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (Vietjet) about opening new domestic and international flights to Hue.

Inherently being called a regal flower associated with the image of the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue, the annual blooming season of Firmiana simplex (also known as Chinese parasol) flowers is in late March and April, creating picturesque images in the space of Hue Imperial Citadel.

A large number of literature lovers in Hue and surrounding provinces has had an emotional afternoon as they listened to Tran Thuy Mai, a writer, sharing about her historical novels about the Nguyen dynasty recently.

The event included many activities such as the exhibition of books and paintings themed "Hue - April sunshine", a publication design contest "life-changing books", talks, and an introduction of historical novels about the Nguyen dynasty by the writer Tran Thuy Mai. On this occasion, a number of publishers, and authors also donated books to the Provincial General Library.
