With the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development", Hue Festival 2024 will include consecutive activities taking place throughout the year. The event aims to honor and promote the unique values of Vietnamese culture in general and Hue culture in particular.

Nguyen Minh Tai Loc, a 12th-grade student majoring in Physics at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Education and Training for his achievements at the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad.

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. On the afternoon of December 4, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting and exchange with H.E. Shawn Steil, the Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam to promote cooperation in the fields of education and training, culture (Hue Festival), climate change tackling and environmental protection.

The outdoor exhibition at Phung Tien Palace, Hue Imperial City offered viewers an opportunity to learn about the architecture, spiritual life under the Nguyen Dynasty as well as the cultural, historical and artistic values of this era through virtual reconstruction combined with reality.

On the afternoon of November 21st, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with Mr. Olivier Brochet, Ambassador of the French Republic to Vietnam, on the occasion of a working visit of the delegation to Thua Thien Hue province.

The exhibition titled “Ngoc xuat danh son” showcases a multitude of artifacts crafted from precious jade, organized by the Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelain Museum (114 Mai Thuc Loan, Hue City). It opened on the morning of November 21st, attracting a large audience of researchers, antique collectors, and the public.

Hue Digital Transformation Week 2023, with the theme “Generating Digital Data - Accelerating Regional Connectivity,” is expected to unveil strategies for a new phase of digital transformation (DT) in Thua Thien Hue. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Director of the Department of Information and Communication (ICT) shared insights on this significant event with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

Nha Nhac or Hue royal court music emerged during the early years of the Ly Dynasty (from 1010 to 1225), but it was not until the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 - 1945) that this type of music truly flourished and became a heritage of the nation and humanity. Through many ups and downs, the Hue royal court music has been carefully preserved and empowered through generations, acting as a strong connection of the past with the present and the future.
