Speaking at the reception, Vice Governor Cai Hao expressed gratitude for the warm welcome from Hue’s leaders. He congratulated the city on its recent socio-economic achievements and praised Hue’s development potential and its role in the friendly relations between Vietnam and China.
“This visit marks a new stage in the cooperative relationship between Honghe Prefecture and Hue. We hope to see more exchange programs, delegation visits, and experience-sharing initiatives in areas where both sides have strengths, such as trade, tourism, education, culture, and heritage conservation,” shared Mr. Cai Hao.
He also expressed hopes that more working delegations from Hue will visit Honghe in the near future, deepening the friendly ties between the two local governments.
In response, Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh welcomed the delegation from Honghe Prefecture and affirmed that this was a meaningful visit for building and advancing cooperation between the two localities.

“Hue City is always ready to establish practical cooperation channels with Honghe Prefecture. We look forward to promoting cultural and artistic exchange activities, especially the participation of Honghe art troupes in the upcoming Hue International Festival and Four Seasons Festival,” Mr. Binh emphasized.
He also proposed that both sides increase efforts to promote each locality’s strengths and potential, enhance investment promotion, and expand cooperation across various fields. Hue will create favorable conditions for businesses from Honghe to explore investment opportunities, particularly in tourism, services, high technology, and heritage preservation.
