On the evening of November 29, the Department of Tourism coordinated with relevant units, to organize a welcome event for the first flight and its passengers traveling from Shenzhen (China) to Hue City by air. Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of November 21, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, held a courtesy meeting with Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada, Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the conclusion of her tenure in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of September 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hue City, held a courtesy meeting with Mr. Duong Thuan Phong, Acting Consul General of the People's Republic of China to Da Nang city, and his delegation during their working visit to Hue City.

On the morning of July 26th, in commemoration of the 78th Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27th, 1947 - July 27th, 2025), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense in remembrance of General Nguyen Chi Thanh at the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum (144 Dang Thai Than Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.

On the morning of June 7th, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Nguyen Thanh Binh, hosted a courtesy reception for a delegation from Honghe Prefectural Government (Yunnan Province, China), led by Vice Governor of Honghe Cai Hao.

From April 11th - 16th, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) and Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Quality Association, returned to Hue for a week to devote to education and local enterprises. This marked his third return to his hometown in 2025, bringing with him a series of heartfelt, meaningful gifts.

On April 15th, Zhi Shan Foundation, in coordination with the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund, and Thuan Hoa District Department of Education and Training, held the inauguration ceremony of a friendly library at Thuy Van Primary School and presented classroom book cabinets to three schools: Duong No Primary School, Phu Thanh Secondary School, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School.

In the framework of the 2025 Open Day Festival, on April 13, the University of Agriculture and Forestry welcomed teachers and 150 students from Nguyen Chi Thanh High school.

On the afternoon of April 1st, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh hosted a courtesy meeting with Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Sarah Hooper.

Officially coming into operation for over a year, the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum is one of the non-public museums that has attracted a great number of visitors.
