On the morning of January 27, at Kim Long Motor Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly industrial park, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held a ceremony on signing a strategic cooperation with BYD Battery, one of the world’s leading companies in batteries and new energy vehicles, while also breaking ground on the BYD battery manufacturing plant.

On December 30, in Kim Long Ward, Hue City Project Management Board for Construction Investment and Urban Development held a conference to announce the Zoning Plan (1/2000 scale) for the Golf Course Tourism Area located in Kim Long Ward and Binh Dien Commune, Hue City.

On the morning of December 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Con Dao Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to supply electric vehicles, including urban electric buses, for public transportation services in the Con Dao special administrative zone.

On the afternoon of December 12, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung welcomed and had a meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the Republic of Korea, led by Mr. Kim Seokki, Chairman of the Committee, during their courtesy visit to the city.

Under the agreement, Kim Long Motor will supply 1,000 KimLong-branded buses of various models for Kijsetthi Mobility, serving the market of Thailand. Riding on this success, Kim Long Motor will also set to expand its export footprint to the Middle East market and other countries in the coming time.

On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.

Under the theme “Hue Spring Festival 2026 - Identity and integration”, Hue Spring Flower Festival 2026 will be held at Ly Tu Trong Park, Thuong Bac Park, Kim Long Park (the area opposite Kim Long communal house), 3/2 Park, and at various green spaces and streets in the city.

On the afternoon of November 14th, at 119 Van Xuan, Hue City Red Cross, in coordination with Kim Long Ward People’s Committee and the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, distributed 100 relief packages to local residents heavily impacted by the recent floods. This is one of the activities under the emergency support program currently being implemented across the entire city.

On September 21, the Office of the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that Hue City People’s Committee, in collaboration with Phuong Trang Group (FUTA Group), and Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU).

With “key players” like Hue Textile and Garment, Scavi, Kim Long Motor, and many other enterprises, Hue is getting closer to its goal of becoming a new export hub in the Central region.
