Among the activities to welcome the 2022 Lunar New Year, on the morning of January 25 (23rd December, Lunar calendar), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony (Thuong Tieu) in Trieu To Mieu and Hien Lam Cac - The Mieu in the Citadel.

This activity was held by the City Commission of Mass Mobilization in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hue City on the morning of January 23.

Fauna and flora experts have discovered a new plant species that is considered endangered (VU, D2) according to the IUCN Red List criteria and needs to be protected.
