On the morning of May 22, the United States Embassy in Vietnam, in collaboration with Phu Xuan University, organized an information session on “Studying abroad in the United States” at the Keiser University Vietnam (KUV), Hue Center.

On the morning of May 20, at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, Hue Monuments Conservation Center solemnly received two casual ao dai that belonged to Empress Dowager Tu Cung. Ms. Cong Ton Nu Kim Chi (currently living in the US) authorized Mr. Pham Xuan Cuong to present them.

On May 19, the ceremony of signing sponsorship between the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2025 and Carlsberg Vietnam was held at Hue City People’s Committee. Accordingly, the Huda beer brand will continue to be the Platinum Sponsor of Hue Festival 2025 with a total sponsorship of up to 9.5 billion VND.

After a day of lively and intense competition, the 2025 Hue University (HU) Open Chess and Chinese Chess Tournament for students, organized by Hue University Student Association, ended on the afternoon of May 18th.

On May 19, in Phu Loc district, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Hue City, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital and the People's Committee of Phu Loc district, organized the opening ceremony of the 8th “Red Journey - Red Drops of Hue” program in 2025. This event is part of a series of activities in response to the nationwide blood donation campaign – the Red Journey, towards the celebration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

With ample room for growth, the fusion of music and tourism can attract a large number of tourists, turning tourism and related services into major revenue generators. If Hue succeeds in this endeavor, it could offer a solution to the city’s long-standing problem of lacking nighttime entertainment services.

Many major projects that have completed investment procedures and begun construction in the early months of the year are expected to create new momentum to help Hue thrive.

On May 17th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a Science Café event themed: “Digital transformation and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medicine.”
