On the morning of September 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen Province and Thai Nguyen Tourism Association, in coordination with Hue City Department of Tourism, organized a program to promote and advertise tourism of Thai Nguyen Province in Hue City.

On the morning of September 25, the City Tourism Association in collaboration with Hotel Association, and Hue College of Tourism held the 2025 Receptionist Skills Competition for officers and receptionists working at hotels and accommodations in the city area.

Not only reaching the strong growth in visitor numbers, but the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 has also created a ripple effect in promoting the destination’s image and positioning the Ancient Capital’s tourism brand name among businesses and visitors. Recently, the Center for Tourism Information and Promotion under Hue City Department of Tourism, in collaboration with 4LLIN Co., Ltd. and Aeon Mall Hue, organized a conference to introduce the “Cultural and Artistic Experiential Tourism in Hue City” project. According to Director of Hue City Department of Tourism – Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, this is a new tourism project, with plans to be held regularly at Aeon Mall Hue.

On September 11, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City announced that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism had issued a decision to rank two relic sites in the city as national relic sites.

On the afternoon of September 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee, organized the opening ceremony of the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival in 2025. This biennial international event aims to build a brand name for Vietnamese photography, while contributing to promoting the image of the country, people, and culture of Vietnam to international friends.

In the journey to brand itself as “Hue - a heritage city, a green, attractive, and high - end destination” on the global tourism map, Hue is boosting its promotional efforts, particularly by spreading the beauty of its landscapes, culture, and people through international media channels.

Alongside promotional activities in several European countries, Hue City’s tourism sector has teamed up with Da Nang to present Central Vietnam tourism in general and that of Hue in particular to the tourism markets of Malaysia and Indonesia. These are considered traditional and promising sources of tourists for Hue.
