Hue attracts more than 310.000 visitors during Hung Kings’ Commemoration Holiday

HNN.VN - On the morning of April 27th, the Department of Tourism reported that the total number of visitors to Hue during this year’s Hung Kings’ Commemoration holiday was estimated at around 310.500. This marks a sharp increase compared to the same holiday in 2025, when Hue welcomed 109.000 visitors.

Specifically, based on statistics from accommodation registrations, visits to tourist attractions, and related data, the total number of visitors to Hue during the holiday period (from April 24 to 28) is estimated at approximately 310.500, including around 70.200 international visitors. Tourism revenue is estimated at 760 billion VND.

The average hotel occupancy rate is estimated at about 72%. Notably, occupancy on the 10th day of the third lunar month (April 26th) reached approximately 93%. As the Hung Kings’ Commemoration holiday falls close to the April 30th - May 1st holiday, many visitors arranged their schedules to extend their trips and experiences.

Alongside various local experiences, from April 25th to 28th, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre opened the Imperial Citadel at night free of charge, allowing visitors to enjoy a series of artistic activities and cultural products under the program “Enchanting Imperial Palace”. This was also one of the highlights attracting tourists.

According to the tourism sector, in addition to tour groups organized by travel companies, a significant number of visitors opted for independent travel.
