Following the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026, production activities at businesses across Hue have quickly resumed a new cycle. Production floors are once again bustling, and assembly lines are operating continuously to ensure export delivery schedules, laying the groundwork for the city’s 2026 growth targets.

On March 12, the City Tax Department and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) - Hue Branch signed a cooperation agreement to jointly provide guidance on tax policies aimed at supporting household businesses in their digital transformation.

On the morning of March 9th, the Hue City Employment Service Center officially launched the Employment Month 2026 program with the theme “Spring Job Connection”. It attracted the participation of many businesses both within and outside the city, creating opportunities for direct connections between companies and job seekers during the first months of the year.

On the morning of March 6, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Institution for Strategy and Policy Studies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, organized a workshop to solicit feedback from central and local departments, agencies, experts, and businesses. The consultation was held to complete the Project on Industrial Development of Hue City for the 2025-2030 period, with a vision toward 2045.

On the afternoon of March 6, Hue Tourism College (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) held a conference on career guidance and enrollment for 2026. Attending the event were representatives of state management agencies, 51 high schools and secondary schools, as well as businesses and organizations involved in training and human resource development.

On the afternoon of February 26, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, led a delegation to visit and work with several major businesses and investors in the locality at the beginning of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Alongside business support policies from the Central Government, Hue City has also introduced tailored, distinctive support mechanisms to spur business development, aiming to have around 12,000 businesses operating stably by 2030.

On the afternoon of January 2, the show “Humorous Startup Journey” was held with the startup expert Tran Thanh Tung, who is also known as Tung BT at Hue Books and Culture Space. The event attracted the participation of a large number of young people who have started, are starting, or aspire to start their own businesses…

On the morning of December 30, Hue City Department of Home Affairs reported that in 2025, wages, bonuses, and labor relations at businesses across the city remained broadly stable. Workers’ salaries and Lunar New Year bonuses continued to rise compared to the previous year, with no cases of wage arrears recorded.

The recent offline and online Job Fair in Hue City organized by the Employment Department (Ministry of Home Affairs) in coordination with the National Center for Employment Services and local Employment Service centers in the Central region recorded many businesses expanding their recruitment needs to meet production and business plans for the upcoming period.
