On June 24, Hue City Women’s Union, in coordination with the city’s Forest Protection Department, the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Small Grants Programme (SGP), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), organized the program “The Cultural Colors of the Bru - Van Kieu People” in Phuc Loc Village, Hung Loc Commune.

On the afternoon of June 24, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan hosted a courtesy meeting with a delegation from Pacific Construction Group Co. Ltd., and Guotai Haitong Securities Co. Ltd., of China. On June 22nd, Hue Central Hospital announced that patient P.M.D. (41 years old, residing in My Thuong Ward, Hue City), who received a heart transplant from a deceased brain-dead donor, had made a good recovery and was discharged from the hospital. This was the 23rd successful heart transplant performed at the hospital and the last of six recipients who received organs and tissues from the same brain-dead donor to be discharged.

On the afternoon of June 21st, Hue City Women's Union coordinated with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation (Germany) to organize a training program on applying policy dialogue skills in practice for women's union officials and members.
