The culinary festival titled “Vietnamese Noodle Heritage - Van Cu Noodle Village” opened on the afternoon of February 18 at Van Cu Hamlet, Nam Thanh Village. This is one of the main activities to respond to the celebration of receiving the national intangible cultural heritage recognition for the “Traditional Craft - Van Cu Noodle-Making Craft”, which is scheduled to be held on February 19.

On the afternoon of January 19th, the third annual Hue Yellow Apricot Festival - Masterpieces of Spring 2025 - was commenced at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Phu Xuan District). This festival is dedicated to honoring Hue's signature flower, the Yellow Apricot Blossom.

Hue's people are simple, rustic, and have their identity,” shared photographer Hoang Quoc Vinh (born in 1986, Gia Lai), who was recently honored with an award for the outstanding artistic work about Hue for his photo collection “ Complex of Hue Monuments”, in an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

On December 11, the leader of the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports announced that Thua Thien Hue has been honored as one of the top 10 localities leading the Production Attraction Index (PAI) and film production environment in Vietnam.

For the first time, artisans and skilled workers are honored for their significant contributions to the preservation and restoration of historical monuments.

On the afternoon of November 22, the Department of Tourism collaborated with Saigon Times Online held a ceremony to announce and honor the “Top 9 Impressive Tourism Products of Hue”.

In 2024, there has been six individuals who donated artifacts, and nine establishments and individuals involved in producing traditional Hue handicrafts supported the Thua Thien Hue Museum of History in its exhibition and display efforts to promote Hue’s cultural heritage to the public and visitors.
