Honoring creative values of Hue’s artists and writers

Awards were presented to outstanding literary and artistic works and projects that won national and international awards

The year 2025 marked several significant milestones for the literary and artistic life of Hue. The city’s artists and writers achieved numerous notable successes, winning prestigious awards at national, regional, and international levels.

2025 also commemorated the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations. On this occasion, many meaningful activities were held, notably the selection and publication of the photobook “Hue - Half a Century of Photography (1975 - 2025)”, featuring 204 works by 58 photographers; and the art book “80 Years of Hue Fine Arts (1945 - 2025)”, gathering 100 authors and 100 representative works.

Within the framework of the program, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of the city presented awards to 15 exemplary works and projects across various fields, including literature, music, fine arts, photography, theater, and folk arts, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tan Quynh, poet, Vice Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Hue City, recognized and highly praised the role of artists and writers in preserving and promoting Hue’s cultural identity. He affirmed that the city will continue to pay attention to, and create favorable conditions for literary and artistic activities to flourish, contributing positively to the mission of building and developing Hue into a heritage urban area, a creative city, and a unique cultural destination of the country.
