Across the fields of Quang Dien, Hue City, there is a farmer who has quietly sowed the seeds of kindness for nearly three decades. Without fanfare or publicity, Van Sinh, 53, a resident of Tan Xuan Lai Village, has silently donated blood 86 times, bringing hope and life to dozens, perhaps hundreds, of people.

On the evening of October 11th, Hue City Youth Union held a ceremony to honor recipients of the “Student with 5 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Training Criteria” titles, and the “January Star” Award for 2025 at Hue FPT Education Complex in Thanh Thuy Ward.

On the morning of September 4, the opening ceremonies of three major international events, including the 19th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC), Export Conference 2025, and the event “Connecting International Goods Supply Chain” officially took place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). Hue participated in the event with the joint stall of three localities Quang Tri - Hue - Danang.

To ensure good preparation for the Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2025 - 2026, linked to the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the Traditional Day of Education sector, held online nationwide on the morning of September 5, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) established inspection teams on September 4. These teams were tasked with assessing the preparation and guiding the organization of the new academic year's opening ceremony at educational institutions across the city.

By the end of July 2025, Hue City no longer has any dilapidated, ramshackle houses. In their place now, stand new, solid houses - turning many families’ dream of stable housing into reality.

On August 4th, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the “Song de tim nhau” (“Live to find each other”) volunteer club (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Youth Union of Long Quang Commune, donated school supplies and essential goods to students in this underprivileged area.

Nguyen Van Tam, a young man passionate about bamboo flute, has been spreading his love for this traditional musical instrument right on the bank of the Huong River. His clear flute melodies have left a good impression on visitors.

Although she has chosen a reclusive life on the edge of Thien An forest (Hue City), just as the saying goes, “good wine needs no bush,” many international tourists visiting Hue have asked travel companies to take them to meet People’s Artisan Hoang Thi Nhu Huy so that they can converse with her and gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture.

The 6th “Hue Jogging - Running for the community” event in 2025 took place on the morning of February 16 at Phu Van Lau (Le Duan Street), attracting nearly 6,000 participants. The event featured two distances, including 5km and 10km.

Highland markets in Thua Thien Hue are gradually establishing their unique role in the lives of ethnic minority communities. These markets serve as places for people to exchange goods, promote local products, and simultaneously boost tourism and socio-economic development.
