Many mysteries have been revealed at the Lieu Coc Twin Towers relic site (located in Huong Xuan Ward, now Kim Tra Ward, Hue City) following the completion of the second phase of excavation in early July 2025. This excavation continues the first phase carried out in 2024, aiming to find the answers to the Cham architectural structure buried underground for centuries.

For the first time, Hue City is in the top 10 localities with the highest score distribution in the national high school graduation exam. This result is a clear evidence of the correct and sustainable direction of Hue City's education sector in recent years.

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. For the first time, the High School Graduation Exam is being conducted under two general education curricula: the 2006 and 2018 curricula, posing significant challenges in organization and operation. As of June 24, all preparations in Hue City have been completed, ready for a serious, fair, and regulation-compliant exam.

The Cultural Heritage Law No. 45/2025/QH15, passed by the 15th National Assembly on November 23, 2024, at its 8th session, will officially take effect on July 1, 2025. For Hue, a centrally-governed municipality and Vietnam's first heritage and cultural city, the (amended) Cultural Heritage Law plays a crucial role in improving the effectiveness of managing, protecting, and promoting cultural heritage.
