As the floodwaters receded, mud and scattered trash are left everywhere. These days, workers from Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO) are straining themselves amid the smell of mud, murky water, and trash to restore the city's clean appearance.

According to the Department of Dike Management and Natural Disaster Prevention (the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), on the morning of October 30, nearly 30 tons of emergency relief supplies from the Government of Russia were delivered by special aircraft to Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi).
