Applying digital technology in reenacting and exploring historical and cultural relics has brought various interesting and vibrant experiences to tourists, helping the heritage last with time.

On October 5th, the Vietnam Digital Media Association and VietTimes e-magazine held the Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 ceremony in Hanoi. Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) was honored in the category of Outstanding digital transformation by public service and business units with its solution “Applying digital technology to conserve and promote the values of Hue’s heritage.”

With the theme "Artificial intelligence (AI) pushes up the social - economic development", the Hue Digital Transformation Week 2024 will take place on October 25 at Meliã Vinpearl Hue.

On the morning of August 7th, the delegation from the People's Committee of Ha Nam province held a working session with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province to exchange and share experiences in implementing digital transformation (DT).

On July 17, within the framework of a working trip to Thua Thien Hue province, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province, led by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, the Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) and worked with the Department of Information and Communication of Thua Thien Hue on digital transformation and smart urban development.

The artifacts selected for identification are representative items typical of the Nguyen Dynasty's royalty and officials, such as the golden throne, palanquins, ceremonial shoes (things used in daily life and rituals), gold and jade branches (interior decorations), and the Xam Huong set (a recreational activity). This initiative marks the beginning of applying technology to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values preserved in Thua Thien Hue.

In addition to the ordinary exhibitions, Hue Museum of Fine Art needs to aim to the assistance of digital technology to attract more viewers and provide them with more hands-on experience. What is meant by digital technology is the its focus on digitizing data and exploiting smart remedies for the exhibits.

The newly launch of the application “Hue City Passport” will enhance the freshness of travelers’ journey in discovering Hue. The provincial tourism sector is keeping carrying out digital transformation to create more new benefits and experiences for tourists.

According to the center's assessment, the increase in the number of visitors to the heritage sites was thanks to the effects of the Four Seasons Festival and corresponding festivals.
