The model was built with an investment of 400 million VND and follows a process of collecting, classifying, and thoroughly treating organic waste and agricultural by-products generated at Pho Trach Market and surrounding residential areas. A notable feature of the model is the application of Que Lam microbial products during waste treatment, helping accelerate decomposition, reduce odors, and ensure safety for operators as well as the surrounding environment.

Through centralized treatment, the volume of waste will be significantly reduced, contributing to savings in waste collection and treatment costs. After the microbial composting process, the organic waste will be transformed into high-quality organic microbial fertilizer for clean agricultural production, heading toward a circular economy model and sustainable development.

To ensure the model operates effectively, the People’s Committee of Phong Dien Ward requested that the management board of Pho Trach Market continue strengthening communication efforts to raise awareness among vendors and residents about the importance of classifying organic waste at the source. At the same time, they are expected to coordinate in maintaining proper waste collection and treatment procedures to ensure environmental hygiene in the market area. Que Lam Group Company will continue supporting the transfer of operational procedures and provide technical guidance on treating organic waste with biological products to the market management board, ensuring that the microbial composting process is implemented correctly and efficiently. The ward authorities are also encouraging households to maintain the habit of sorting waste at the source and to regard organic waste as reusable material rather than mixing it with plastic waste and other difficult-to-decompose waste.

Mr. Ho Don - Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phong Dien Ward, shared that putting the centralized organic waste treatment model using Que Lam microbial products at Pho Trach Market into operation is an important step toward improving the local environment. In the coming time, the ward will continue monitoring and evaluating the model’s effectiveness in order to gradually expand it, contributing to the goal of building Phong Dien Ward into a green, clean, and bright locality.
