On the familiar green chalkboard, under the skillful hands of Ms. Le Thi Loc Phuong, an art teacher from Tu Ha Primary School No. 1 (Huong Tra Ward), the heritage sites of Hue such as Ngu Phung Pavilion, Thien Mu Pagoda’s bell tower, or the graceful curve of Truong Tien Bridge gradually come to life. Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.

Going through many generations, the traditional drum-making craft of the Co Tu people has gradually faded, remaining only in the memories of a few elders. In Doi Village, Khe Tre Commune, artisan and village elder Vuong Van Cua is one of the last people still preserving the ancient secrets of making traditional Co Tu drums.

After many years of sustaining their lives through regular blood transfusions, many pediatric patients suffering from congenital hemolytic anemia (Thalassemia) have now found the “light at the end of the tunnel” thanks to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Hue Central Hospital. From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

October 11 is recognized by the United Nations as the International Day of the Girl Child, a day to honor the value and affirm the role of girls in families and society, while calling on communities to act for the safety, equality, and holistic development of girls worldwide. In Hue City, the health sector has organized many practical activities to help raise awareness and enhance the status of girls in modern life.

Through forestry investment support and livelihood creation for local people, based on efficient forest environment utilization, the localities, units, and relevant sectors have mobilized and promoted the roles of communities and enterprises, contributing to strategic changes in forest resource management and development.

To build an e-government and smart city, Hue City has been focusing on collecting, integrating, and unifying digital data. This is not merely a technical solution but also a governance method that enhances transparency, efficiency, and public service for citizens and businesses.

On October 8th in Hanoi, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) was honored at the Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2025 in the “Outstanding Digital Transformation Enterprise/Organization” category with its “Digital Identification and Exhibition of Nguyen Dynasty Antiquities” solution.
