Kim Long Motor Hue establishes distribution network in Thailand
HNN.VN - On April 4, Mr. Ho Cong Hai, Co-General Director in charge of production, R&D, and development at Kim Long Motor, announced that Kim Long Motor Company has signed a cooperation agreement with Kijsetthi Mobility (Thailand) to distribute bus models in the Thai market.

According to the agreement, Kijsetthi Mobility will become the authorized distributor, responsible for implementing the sales network and after-sales services. The products to be distributed are expected to include internal combustion engine vehicles and electric vehicles.
This marks the first time Kim Long Motor establishes a distribution network in a Southeast Asian market. Choosing Thailand, a country with a well-developed automotive industry and high technical standards, is seen as a step to explore and expand within the regional market.
Kim Long Motor’s buses are manufactured at the Kim Long Motor Hue Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park. The company stated that its localization rate exceeds 80%, meeting the rules of origin under the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA), thereby qualifying for tariff preferences when exporting within the region.
According to Mr. Ho Cong Hai, the cooperation aims to expand export markets and gradually build a stable distribution network.
In the context of continued growth in Vietnam - Thailand trade relations, the cooperation between the two companies is expected to further promote exchanges in the automotive and transportation industries.
In the coming time, the two sides plan to collaborate on technical training, build service systems, and customize the products to suit operating conditions in Thailand. This is also considered a step for the Vietnamese company to expand into other markets in the region.
