|
Launched in December 2025, the competition received 880 startup projects from students across higher education institutions, vocational schools, and general education institutions within 2 months. The projects span 5 categories: industry, manufacturing, artificial intelligence (AI), and STEM; agriculture, environment, and energy; education, culture, tourism, and finance; healthcare, wellness, and daily life; and social impact business.
This also marks the first year of implementing the “Support for Student Startups for the 2026-2035 Period” program, approved under Decision No. 336/QĐ-TTg dated February 25, 2026, by the Prime Minister. The program is guided by the principle of “Real Action - Real Competition”, shifting from a movement-based approach to effectiveness, with real products, real-world testing, genuine collaboration, and tangible impact serving as key criteria for organizing and evaluating startup support activities.

| The project winning third prize |
At the event, Hue City Department of Education and Training assigned the project “Development of eco-friendly construction panels with soundproofing, thermal insulation, and CO2 absorption from waste materials”, developed by students of Phu Bai High School, to the competition.
The project focuses on recycling industrial and agricultural waste, such as fly ash, coal slag, EPS foam, and coconut fiber, into non-fired green construction panels. Its key innovation lies in the material’s ability to absorb CO2 during the curing process, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The product is lightweight and offers strong soundproofing and thermal insulation, opening up a cost-effective and environmentally friendly approach to construction materials.
The project secured third prize in the competition, highlighting the innovation and entrepreneurial drive of Hue students on the national stage.
