On the afternoon of June 6, the Board of Directors of Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony to celebrate the success of a liver transplant case. This was the hospital’s second pediatric liver transplant and the third cross-country liver transplant performed by the hospital, marking another milestone in humanitarian medical achievements and extending the hope of life for children suffering from severe liver diseases.

On the morning of June 7, the Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Federation of Hue City launched the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Phu Luong Commune, Phu Vang District. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Hoang Khanh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Public Relations Committee of the City Party Committee.

Besides the international tourist market, the domestic tourist market is considered a solid foundation for a bright “picture” of Vietnamese tourism in general, and Hue City in particular. Capturing the trends and preferences of visitors presents an opportunity to leverage the domestic market.

On the 10-acre field of red chiem rice (a traditional red rice grown in brackish lowlands of Hue City, sown by April and harvested by July), each planting season requires 40 to 50 hired laborers, and the harvest stretches over several days. Left untended and unfertilized, the rice grows naturally under the generous sun and rain. Some call it “heaven’s rice” — a variety grown from the grace of Tam Giang’s waters.

Let’s Hue - Local Buddies is a project founded by foreign language-loving students from member universities of Hue University. Its goal is to introduce and promote the cultural image of Hue Ancient Capital to international friends.

On the morning of June 1st, in Vinh Thanh Commune (Phu Vang District), the People's Committee of Hue City, in coordination with the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army and Military Region 4, organized a program in response to World Environment Day, Vietnam Sea and Island Week, and launched the “Summer Youth Volunteer” campaign, and the “Youth with the Homeland’s Seas and Islands” program 2025.

On the afternoon of Jun 1st, the third season of TEDXLe Loi Street took place at Hue UK Academy, attracting over 200 attendants, including students and those loving and cherishing the cultural values of the ancient capital.

According to information from the Hue Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital, from June 23 to 26, the hospital will coordinate with ReSurge International to carry out a program offering free surgery for patients with craniofacial deformities, cleft lips, palatal deformities, and other craniofacial abnormalities.

After nearly three months, the ceramic art creation camp on the theme “Hue with Uncle Ho”, organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, closed on the afternoon of May 30.
