The collection of essays and notes, “A Yellow Apricot tree in front of the house: Notes on Hue - The elegant land of moss” (Vietnam Women’s Publishing House), was introduced by its author, Minh Tu, journalist, to book lovers at Hanoi’s Book Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

The book launch discussion for “Ham Nghi: The Exiled Emperor - An Artist in Algiers”, with the participation of author and speaker Amandine Dabat, a PhD in Art History and the 5th descendant of Emperor Ham Nghi, took place on November 5 at Duyet Thi Duong Theater, Hue Imperial Citadel.

Known for his many roles, Mr. Tran Si Chuong recently released the book "Conversations with Gen Z" with collaborator Nguyen Thi Diem Chau. This book is seen as "igniting the entrepreneurial spirit" for many young people in the 4.0 era. Reading plays an important role for everyone, especially for students. However, not all parents have the right method to inspire and guide their children to develop the habit of reading and love of for books.

From 300 entries in the preliminary round, the organizers selected 50 works by 50 students to compete in the finals of the 2024 children's drawing competition based on books, themed: "Hue through childhood drawings."

This is the title of the fifth book by Dr. Chu Duc Tinh (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum) about President Ho Chi Minh. Loving the gentle but profound accent of people in the ancient capital, a group of students from Hue University International School carry out an audiobook project read entirely in Hue accent. “Voice of Ancient Capital” is the gift that these young people want to present to local blind children as well as those all over the country.

The 2024 Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day kicked off on the morning of April 19th at Hue Provincial General Library with many activities.

The Department of Tourism has reported that during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon), the number of tourists visiting Hue for sightseeing and experiences has significantly increased compared to that of the same period in 2023, with many accommodation facilities fully booked during the festive days.

Comic artist and illustrator Jeet Zdung’s exhibition “Awake” included 50 works on the theme of wild art, opening a new and unique world of animals and their own stories. The exhibition is co-organized by Hanoi Grapevine and ddur.productions at Song Platform, Zone A2, Hung Vuong Commercial Center, Phu Nhuan Ward, Hue City.

A publication set, titled "Mysterious Hue", consists of three books namely: “Hue, the mystery” (by Louis Chochod), “Gia Long Mausoleum” (by Léopold Cadière), and “The collection of maps and sites in Hue Imperial City” (by Henri Cosserat and Léopold Cadière).
