Two First prizes awarded in book cover design contest about Hue

HNN.VN - As part of the Book and Reading Culture Day program in 2025, on April 24, Hue City Library summarized a book cover design contest about Hue with the theme “Hue City, my hometown”.

 The organizing committee awarded the First Prizes to two outstanding book covers

The contest was for secondary school students in the two districts of Thuan Hoa and Phu Xuan. Being launched on April 1, the contest received over 1,000 entries from 35 schools. The organizing committee selected 50 works for display and exhibition at the library’s space (29A Le Quy Don Street, Thuan Hoa District).

From these, the organizing committee selected the 12 most outstanding works to participate in the idea presentation round. As a result, two First prizes were awarded to the book cover designs, namely “Hue reaching out from heritage” (by Nguyen Thao Uyen and Ngo Minh Thu, from Thuy Bang Secondary School), and “Royal Citadel Tet” (by Tran Hong Minh Thu, from Phu Duong Secondary School). In addition, four Second prizes and six Third prizes were awarded to other good book covers.
