On the afternoon of April 7th, a seminar titled “Commercial Photography in the era of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Photography Association and sponsored by Yongnuo, a company specializing in photography equipment manufacturing.

Amidst the scorching hot in April, Bao Chau’s photos, which recorded the scene of Pho Trach villagers (Phong Binh, Phong Dien) harvesting Bang grass (Lepironia articulata) in the green field, like gentle gifts for all eyes. Under Chau's photo angles, Pho Trach is rich and peaceful in every hand movement, the smiles of the villagers in each step, from harvesting Bang grass in the field, drying, preliminary processing the grass, to making it into valuable handicrafts.

A group of artists from many places have been in love with Hue so much that they have painted art works about the land known as "the beauty of Hue can be found nowhere else" as a keepsake of their memories of the Ancient Capital.

More than 130 paintings, which are the selected works from the artistic career of painter Nguyen Van Nguyen, were recently exhibited and introduced to the public on the afternoon of March 22nd at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (7 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

With the theme "Spring Colors", the exhibition organized by the Hue Museum of Fine Arts just opened on the morning of March 21 at the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Phu Loc district, attracting a large number of the public.

Inspired by patterns on Nine Dynastic Urns of the Nguyen Dynasty, which located in Hue Imperial Citadel, nearly 60 wood engraving artworks have been curated and introduced to the public on the morning of March 19th at Le Ba Dang Art Center (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

Upon contemplating the city in the brushstrokes of artist Hoang Dang Khanh, viewers seem to immerse themselves in many different emotions, ranging from peacefulness, romance, desolation, strangeness, sometimes solitariness and loneliness. This artist from Hue seems tireless after many years of pursuing the city theme. As for him, those city quarters not only nourished his soul but also gave him mixed memories of joy and sadness.

On the morning of March 11th, at Duy Tan Hotel, a seminar was held to commemorate the 150th birthday anniversary of Mr.Le Van Mien - a cultural figure and an artist. The seminar was organized by Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations and Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association.

This issue was discussed by leaders of Hue City and Cergy City (French Republic) at a working session during a business trip of the delegation of Hue City, led by Secretary of Hue City Party Committee Phan Thien Dinh, to Cergy City from February 28 to March 4, 2024. The delegation was also joined by the leader and a number of lecturers from the University of Arts, Hue University.

As a land with historical traditions and cultural depth dating back many centuries, Hue is an important political, economic, cultural and artistic center of the country, and has now expanded its area four times, from 70.67 km2 to 265.99 km2, with 29 wards and 7 communes.
