Taking place until December 16, the delegations will compete in programs such as mass cultural performances, ethnic costume performances, and presentations of excerpts from traditional festivals and cultural practices of ethnic groups. Additionally, there will be activities to display and promote traditional culture, cuisine, and sports activities such as pole pushing, tug of war, slingshot shooting, and cross-bow shooting, etc.

This year, Thua Thien Hue delegation attends the festival with 60 cadres, artists, and artisans, mainly the Co Tu ethnic people in Nam Dong District.

According to the organizing committee, the 2024 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups Cultural Festival not only holds the significance of a cultural event, but more importantly, it serves as an opportunity for cultural entities, artists, performers, and mass athletes from ethnic groups to engage in exchanges, share experiences, and introduce the unique beauty of their respective cultures.

Through this, the pride and sense of responsibility of each individual and each community in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic minority groups are spread during the period of integration and development of the country.
