After nearly a decade of sustained cooperation with Kanto International Senior High School in Tokyo, Japan, Hai Ba Trung High School in Hue City has developed a meaningful model of international exchange. Through classroom lessons, experiential activities, charity programmes and homestays in Japan, students from both countries have not only deepened their understanding of each other’s cultures but also broadened their intercultural awareness, strengthened their appreciation of cultural identity and fostered friendship between Vietnam and Japan.

On the morning of July 10, Hue Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Acecook Vietnam JSC, held a press conference to announce ‘Hue - Culinary Capital 2026’ program under the theme ‘Hue Beef Noodle (Bun bo Hue) Day’. He is the younger brother of renowned singer Son Tung M-TP. The artist came to Hue to perform and chose Hue Imperial Citadel as the venue for the official launch of his new music video, Cong Tu Van Tho (The Literary Gentleman).

On the afternoon of July 8th, at Co Mat Vien - Tam Toa, Hue Festival 2026 Organizing Committee officially launched the photography contest ‘Hue - Ancient Capital, New Experiences’. The competition is part of Hue Festival 2026 and aims to promote Hue as a city of heritage, culture, ecology, scenic beauty, and hospitality to both domestic and international audiences.

More than 160 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City are participating in a training program jointly organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports and Hue City Department of Education and Training, which officially opened on the morning of July 8th.

On the evening of July 8th, at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, held the closing ceremony of the 2026 Three-Region Folk Instrumental Music and Folk Singing Festival. During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented numerous awards to outstanding artistic ensembles, individuals, performances, and programs.
