On April 18, at Secret Affairs Institute - Tam Toa Complex (No. 33, Tong Duy Tan Street, Phu Xuan Ward), Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened the exhibition “Stories from Ancient Manuscripts.” The event responds to Hue Festival 2026 - the Summer Festival themed “The Shining Citadel” and looks ahead to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).

Following the proposal of Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, signed a decision to designate 18 sites across the city as city-level historical and cultural relics. Hue City People’s Committee announced the information on April 17th.

Such is the title of a book recently released by Thuan Hoa Publishing House in late March 2026. The more than 20 articles included in the book are the result of a dedicated process of research, documentation, and fieldwork by its two authors, Nguyen Duc Loc and Le Thi Mai An (currently working at the Hue City Museum of History).
