On the morning of February 3, Hue College of Tourism (under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) held the “Spring of Love” Festival 2026.

From late January to early February 2026, Hue City Art Troupe brings Hue Royal Court Music (Nha nhac) and other distinctive cultural values of the Ancient Capital to perform and promote in Sydney, Darwin, and Canberra (Australia).

While not as large-scale or bustling as many famous flower villages in the North and the South such as Sa Dec (Dong Thap), Cai Mon (Vinh Long), Nhat Tan, Tay Tuu (Hanoi), or Thai Phien (Lam Dong)…, the flower villages supplying Tet flowers in Hue remain vibrant and deeply imbued with local cultural identity.

“Nghien cuu Hue” (“Researching Hue”) is a series of books about Hue, born out of researchers’ deep affection for Hue culture. The series is considered the continuity of the B.A.V.H. (Bulletin des Amis du Vieux Hué) by the Association of Friends of Ancient Hue.

On the morning of February 1, at the space located at 23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center, in coordination with Hue Book and Culture Club, organized the “Thuan Hoa - Binh Ngo 2026” Festival under the theme “Dung dang dung de - Welcoming Spring in Joy and Good Health”.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on January 31, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented 400 Tet gift packages to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in An Cuu and Phu Xuan wards.

On 7 January, on behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary To Lam signed and promulgated Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture. The Resolution was issued in the context of the country entering a new stage of development with increasingly high requirements for rapid and sustainable development, with a close linkage between the economy, politics, society, culture and the people.

On the afternoon of January 29th, Hue University of Sciences High School for Gifted Students organized an experiential activity titled “Hue Tuong masks - When art becomes heritage” for students. The program is part of the Local Education curriculum, aiming to help students gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture, thereby fostering love for their homeland and an awareness of the importance of respecting and preserving traditional cultural heritage values.

From February 7 to 15, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th to 28th days of the Lunar December of the Year of At Ty), the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward will organize the “Hoa Chau Tet Festival” along Bao Vinh Pedestrian Street. The event will feature a wide range of distinctive cultural and community activities, helping to create a lively and joyful atmosphere for residents in celebration of the traditional Tet holiday of Binh Ngo 2026.

To create a joyful and vibrant atmosphere before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Horse (Binh Ngo) 2026, Thuan Hoa Ward will organize the Thuan Hoa Spring Festival Binh Ngo 2026 at Hue Book and Culture Space (23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). The program, themed “Dung dang dung de - Welcoming Spring in joy and good health”, will take place on February 1.
