In preparation for the 2026 - 2027 academic year, two inter-level boarding schools in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes are urgently completing the final preparations to welcome students back to school starting August 25.

On the afternoon of August 19, the City Military Command, the Standing Agency of the City’s Steering Committee 515, completed the final handover of martyrs’ remains samples to Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. The milestone marks an important step forward in the effort to restore names to heroic martyrs.

On the morning of August 1, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, together with Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, conducted an on-site inspection of construction progress at the boarding inter-level schools (primary and secondary level) in the communes of A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4. The inspection was aimed at reviewing overall progress, promptly resolving difficulties, and ensuring readiness for the 2026 - 2027 academic year.

The book titled ‘Le Trai Dang Van Hoa - His life and legacy’ is a curated collection of valuable research papers and academic presentations presented in Hue in October 2025.

At the 2nd Special Session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term, which opened on the afternoon of July 26th, delegates approved two key resolutions: a list of six transport infrastructure projects to be implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, and a policy providing free general education textbooks beginning with the 2026 - 2027 academic year.

On the evening of July 6, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to award scholarships to students and prizes to teachers who achieved outstanding results in the City-level Competition to Select Grade 12 Excellent Students in History for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Amidst the blistering June heat of the borderland, over 100 armed forces personnel are pushing their limits in a '60-day-and-night' campaign to beat the deadline. Their paramount mission: complete construction on the A Luoi 4 Multi-level Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in time for the opening drum of the new 2026 - 2027 academic year.

On the afternoon of June 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded graduation degrees to more than 1,100 new doctors, pharmacists and bachelor's graduates from full-time program 2026. The graduates belong to the 2020–2026 and 2021/2022–2026 cohorts across a wide range of health sciences programs, marking an important milestone in their academic journey as they prepare to enter the professional healthcare workforce. ​
