That is the topic of the 2024 LSCAC International Scientific Conference - “Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Context”, which takes place from November 22 to 24 in Hue. This event is held by Hue College in collaboration with Malang National University (Indonesia), Hyderabad University (India), University of Mahasarakham (Thailand), the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Hanoi), and the Northeast Institute for Cultural and Arts Research (Thailand).

Currently, there are around 34.000 people with disabilities in the provincial area, including about 950 being cared for and supported at public and non-public social assistance facilities.

With the theme “Society and culture in Asia in the digital age,” the international scientific conference LSCAC 2024 - Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Contexts - will take place from November 22nd to 24th in Hue city. On October 23, the Department of Education and Training held a session to assess the works participating in the competition for composing new lyrics based on Hue folk melodies; painting about Hue culture and collecting local games, folk songs, and folk poems appropriate with preschool education.

KinoFest, the German Film Festival is an annual film festival organized by Goethe Institute in Southeast Asia for contemporary German cinema. This year, the film festival will be held in Hue from October 26 to 27 at Lan Vien Co Tich cultural space (No. 94 - 96 - 98 Bach Dang, Hue City).

On the evenings of October 19 and 20, nearly 1,000 spectators gathered at the Song Huong Theater to immerse themselves in a music night themed “Hue Symphony - The Symphony of the Ancient Capital”. This is a unique art show, aiming to create a new and distinctive tourism product of the Ancient Capital.
