The 4th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the city, for the 2025 - 2030 term, was held on December 26. Attending the Congress were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang; along with representatives of departments, agencies, sectors, and a large number of association members.

On the morning of December 19, at Duyet Thi Duong - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments of Conservation Center, in collaboration with Hue International Forum (HIF), hosted the 4th Hue International Forum in 2025 under the theme “Accompanying Comprehensive Development - Building a Sustainable Future”.

On December 4th, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Hanoi, organized the 2025 Dialogue Program under the theme: “Cooperation in Journalism - Communication Training in the Post-Digital Context.”

On December 4th, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh held a meeting with Mr. Eric Soulier, the newly appointed Cultural Counsellor of French Embassy and Director of French Institute in Vietnam (Institut français du Vietnam - IFV).

On the afternoon of November 4th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, together with the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, received a donation of 1 billion VND from Cotana Group to support post-flood recovery efforts. ​

On the morning of September 4th, the Department of Tourism announced statistics on visitor arrivals to Hue in the first eight months of 2025. Notably, France topped the international tourist market to Hue with nearly 64.200 tourists during the period, accounting for 13,5% of the city’s international tourist arrivals.

At the 70th Anniversary Celebration and the 4th Outstanding Intellectuals in the Medical Sector Honoring Ceremony in 2025 held in Hanoi by Vietnam Medical Association, Phan Canh Chuong, nurse, was honored with the title of “Outstanding Intellectual in the Medical Sector”.

On August 4th, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the “Song de tim nhau” (“Live to find each other”) volunteer club (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Youth Union of Long Quang Commune, donated school supplies and essential goods to students in this underprivileged area.

The 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament kicked off from August 1st to 4th at Quoc Vinh Billiards Club (4/1 Le Hong Phong Street, Hue City). The event is part of the Hue Sports Festival 2025 and is co-organized by Quoc Vinh Billiards Club, Arena Company, and Hollywood Billiards Table brand.

On the afternoon of July 4th, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF) held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to PhD, Master's, Engineering, Bachelor's, and Veterinary Medicine graduates.
