Over 15,000 People Participate in Hue Sports Festival 2026

Taking place from July 15 to August 30, the 4th ‘Hue Sports Festival’ features 19 activities, witnessing an increase of 7 activities year-on-year, and it is held alongside the ‘Hue in Autumn’ Autumn Festival.

Alongside returning favorites such as pickleball, yoga, balance bike racing, badminton, basketball, three-cushion carom billiards, seven-a-side football, tennis, and Dance Showcase…, Hue Sports Festival this year also introduces several new events, including taekwondo, wellness practices, Hue Night Jogging, archery, Aqua Warriors, and Amazing Marathon.

By combining grassroots and high-performance sports with a host of fresh and engaging activities, Hue Sports Festival 2026 continues to underscore the city’s dynamic sports development while giving residents and visitors more opportunities to discover Hue’s cultural heritage, landscapes, and the Hue people.

“Expecting to attract over 15,000 domestic and international athletes, along with their family members and supporters, Hue Sports Festival 2026 aims not only to continue promoting the campaign ‘All People Exercise Following the Example of President Ho Chi Minh’ but also to preserve and promote traditional cultural and sporting values, encourage greater business engagement, stimulate tourism demand and contribute to the development of the night-time economy,” said Director of Hue Department of Culture and Sports Le Minh Nhan.
