Over 15,000 People Participate in Hue Sports Festival 2026

Over 200 artifacts made of gold, silver, and other precious materials, ranging from royal gifts and ritual objects to jewelry and everyday items, … are on display at the thematic exhibition ‘Precious Metal Artifacts under the Nguyen Dynasty - From the Royal Court to Folk Life’, which opened on the morning of September 22.

On the afternoon of September 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a meeting to review the organization of Hue Heritage and International Music Festival - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026. Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang chaired the meeting. The meeting was also attended by representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units.

On September 17, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang met with Vietnam Railways (VNR) in Hanoi to discuss a proposed steam train service on the Hue - Danang route, which would connect Hue’s tourism sector with destinations across the region.

Drawing on the woodblock prints of traditional Vietnamese folk painting genres such as Dong Ho, Hang Trong, Kim Hoang, and Lang Sinh, the Woodblock Art Experience Space at 23-25 Le Loi Street brings visitors closer to traditional art. Beyond contemplating the artworks, visitors can try printing and coloring the woodblocks while discovering the stories and cultural values behind each piece.

Vietnam’s sepak takraw team has successfully defended its title, winning 7 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal at the 2026 World Sepak Takraw Championships, held from August 25 to 30 in the Federal Republic of Germany.
