Hue Sports Festival 2026 Kicks Off with Hue Taekwondo Festival

HNN.VN - On the morning of July 16, the 1st Hue Taekwondo Festival officially kicks off at Van The My Sports Arena (No. 11 Dong Da St.), serving as the opening event of the 4th Hue Sports Festival 2026.

The tournament brings together 253 athletes (135 men and 118 women) from 25 Taekwondo clubs across the city.

At the tournament, athletes will be competing in over 40 events, including individual and team sparring, and poomsae competitions, promising thrilling performances.

As the opening event of Hue Sports Festival 2026, the tournament creates a vibrant and colorful sporting atmosphere in Hue Ancient Capital during the summer.

Mr. Le Dac Nguyen Xuan, President of Hue Taekwondo Federation, shared: “With the participation of a large number of Taekwondo clubs and an extensive competition program, the tournament not only promotes the development of Taekwondo but also adds another highlight to Hue Sports Festival 2026 and Hue Festival, contributing to promoting the image of Hue as a Festival City, a sports city, and a destination for major cultural-sports events”.
