If the past 5 years were a period of building a ‘data reservoir’, the next 5 years will be a time of forming a ‘data power plant’, where data is not only stored, but also harnessed to create new values. This also requires management agencies to shift from a mindset of managing data to the one of exploiting and promoting its values, bringing heritage closer to the public while opening new opportunities for economic development based on heritage.

The second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term is scheduled to take place on July 10th - 11th. The Council is expected to consider and adopt 21 important resolutions, focusing on public investment, finance and state budget, digital transformation, science and technology, social welfare, and policies for public officials and civil servants in the context of implementing the two-tier local government model.

On the evening of June 6, at Ngo Mon Square, the Ministry of Public Security solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2026 People's Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Festival - Region II.

On the evening of June 5th, the Organizing Committee of the 2026 People's Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Festival - Region II held a public exchange and parade program for residents and visitors along major streets in Hue City.

On the morning of June 4th, at Thai Hoa Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, the Nguyen Dynasty Throne, a National Treasure, was returned to public display after the completion of restoration work.

On June 4, the Organizing Committee of the People’s Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Games 2026 - Region II announced that public interaction activities would be held along several central city streets following the preliminary rehearsal and final rehearsal on the evenings of June 4 and June 5.

Under the theme “Hue Heritage - Convergence and Divergence”, the exhibition introduced nearly 150 remarkable sketch artworks depicting Hue to the public in Ho Chi Minh City. The collection is currently preserved by Hue Museum of Fine Arts.
