"Green Tourism: Turning Costs into a Competitive Advantage" is the feature story by Huu Phuc, the highlight of this week's issue. Green transformation means businesses must accept higher upfront costs and adapt the way they operate. This has prompted many to ask: “What do we gain in return?”. In reality, however, those initial investments can translate into stronger competitive advantages, enhanced brand value, and access to higher-quality customer segments.

In the Opinion section, Nguyen Dinh shares his perspective on Hue's approach to disaster prevention and mitigation. Drawing on the recent national conference on storm and flood prevention, extreme weather, and climate change chaired by General Secretary and State President To Lam, the author argues that climate adaptation in Hue cannot simply rely on building more dikes, reservoirs, or drainage systems. More importantly, development must be reorganized in a way that respects the natural behavior of water... Looking further ahead, it involves preserving and gradually restoring the space for water. Such space extends beyond rivers and reservoirs to include disciplined urban planning, preventing encroachment on flood corridors, protecting ponds and lakes, preserving urban waterways, expanding green spaces, and increasing surfaces capable of absorbing rainwater.
