“Herb” – fine arts exhibition to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day

HNN.VN - On the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), on the afternoon of October 18, Le Ba Dang and Diem Phung Thi Arts Centers coordinated with Provincial Fine Arts Association and the Group of female artists in Ho Chi Minh City - Gia Lai - Da Nang to open the “Herb” fine arts exhibition.

The exhibition introduces to the viewers 36 works of 26 female artists from Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lai, Da Nang and Hue.

Most of the works express the beauty of flowers as the return to the nature, praising the Vietnamese women’s gentle, loving and non-flabby beauty.

With a variety of materials such as oil painting, acrylic, lacquer, graphics, trúc chỉ (paper made from bamboo), silk, synthetic, etc., the exhibition introduces many drawing styles bearing the specific stamp of each artist.

Not only being a place for meeting and exchanging of female artists, the “Herb” exhibition also brings to the art lovers a multi-color artistic space on the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day.

The exhibition takes place at Le Ba Dang Arts Center until October 25.
