Calling for consultancy to renew Hue tourism
HNN.VN - On the morning of March 6, at the meeting with leaders of departments, boards and sections discussing the plan to organize the Spring Tourism Forum in 2019, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho expressed his agreement on the need of such a forum every year in order to promote the development of tourism, a key field of the province, and direct the need to call for consultancy of experts and enterprises to renew the tourism.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho raised the question: “For a long time, we had have many workshops, conferences and forums on promoting tourism, but the province's tourism has not yet developed corresponding to its potentials and strengths.” At the same time, he asked the leaders of departments, branches and localities for the necessary to change their thinking, change the way of doing and review what provincial tourism needs to develop.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that this forum needed to determine the purpose towards the content and direction of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the conference to develop tourism in the Central – Central Highlands, which has just happened in Hue. It is necessary to invite the experts to exchange ideas and initiatives to find out a sustainable way for Thua Thien Hue tourism. Besides, it is also necessary to introduce and attract the attention of investors and enterprises to a number of new schemes and projects. At the same time, there should be clear support mechanisms and policies to develop local tourism.
According to the plan, the 2019 Spring Tourism Forum will be held on March 25 -26, 2019. This forum is a place for organizations, associations, businesses, media agencies and press to meet, exchange and make consultancy to the tourism development of the province.
