Spreading love through “CUON” music show

Vibrant and engaging performances at “CUON” show

The Guitar Club of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University was established on November 4th, 2010, originating from the shared passion for music among students in white blouse coats. Over 15 years of formation and development, the club now has 79 members, including students from both within and outside the university. From a small informal group, the club has gradually built its own identity, becoming a space that connects those who love the guitar and the arts.

The “CUON” show is one of the club’s annual activities. To date, the club has organized 19 music shows, each with its own distinctive character but all sharing the common goal of connecting the community and spreading emotions through music. In addition to artistic activities, the Guitar Club of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University also maintains a meaningful tradition of charity. After each show, a portion of the proceeds is allocated to support patients currently undergoing treatment at the Oncology Department of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. This is an act of sharing and compassion, reflecting the sense of social responsibility of medical students throughout their journey of study and training.

In the future, the club aims to continue organizing two shows each year, while expanding the scale of activities, targeting larger performance venues and a broader audience within the Hue University student community as well as music lovers across the city.
