This year’s Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign holds special significance for the youth of the entire city, as it marks the first campaign since Hue officially became the sixth centrally governed municipality in Vietnam.
Building on the successes of previous summer volunteer seasons, 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign will continue to be implemented through targeted groups and youth sectors with the “Exam Support” program and 4 main campaigns, including the “Green Summer” Volunteer Campaign, the “Red Flamboyant” Volunteer Campaign, the “Pink Holiday” Volunteer Campaign, and the “Green Operation” Volunteer Campaign.
The campaign will peak from June to August, and it will be guided by the motto: “The youth of Hue City - Unafraid to take on new and challenging tasks to get trained, contribute, and mature”. At the same time, it will focus on achieving 12 key targets, driven by the spirit of the “4 Clarities” principle: Clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear timelines, and clear outcomes.
As part of the campaign launch ceremony, Hue City Youth Union presented symbolic plaques representing support for various projects and initiatives with a total value of nearly 150 million VND. These include eliminating makeshift houses for disadvantaged families; donating 30 bicycles and 14 scholarships to poor students who strive to overcome difficulties; and supporting the construction of a “The Youth Tree Village” project, etc.
