Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with a delegation, visited Hue Central Hospital and the organ transplant patients from across Vietnam in April 2024.

Among the ten selected collectives is Hue Central Hospital (HCH). Additionally, there are ten other outstanding individuals recognized for their remarkable achievements across various fields contributing to the nation's development and construction.

HCH is Vietnam's first Western-style hospital. Over 130 years of development, it has grown into a special-grade hospital with three branches and a capacity of over 5,000 beds. In recent years, the hospital has implemented many advanced techniques, particularly in organ transplantation, with over 1,800 cases performed, including 10 cases of heart transplantation across Vietnam. The Government and Ministry of Health have chosen the hospital as one of five special-grade hospitals to be improved, with the goal of becoming an international level hospital.

Vietnam Glory 2024 will be held in Hanoi on May 19th. The program, under the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Central Committee for Emulation and Commendation, and the Central Propaganda Committee, is directly organized by Lao Dong Newspaper. This is a cultural-political event that honors the spirit of the nation, love for the homeland, heroes, and exemplary figures who have made outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements and in the construction and defense of the Fatherland.

By 2023, a total of 274 collectives and individuals had been honored through 18 Vietnam's Glory events.
