First book art exhibition held in Hue

HNN.VN - On the morning of April 25, the University of Fine Arts – Hue University held the 2018 Book art exhibition. This is a cooperation project between Hue University of Fine Arts and Bunditpattanasilpa Institute (Thailand).

The exhibition introduces to the viewers a novel form of art

The exhibition introduces to the viewers 54 works of 54 authors including 37 artists and lecturers from Bunditpattanasilpa Institute (Thailand), and 17 artists and lecturers from Hue University of  Fine Arts. With the form of book art, the works are expressed in a variety of materials such as: pottery, paper, fabric, etc. to transmit the artists’ ideas and messages on art and life. This is the first book art exhibition held in Hue.

According to Associate Professor Phan Thanh Binh, Rector of  Hue University  of Fine Arts: “The exhibition is a special creative activity because it is the first advanced book art exhibition held in Hue. Popular as it is, the exhibition still has its distinct attractive style in exploration and presentation, expressing its multiple visual special and different forms.”
