Students making their creation with natural materials

With the theme of “drawing with nature”, students used natural materials such as rocks, leaves, and acrylic colors to create colorful artworks about nature, flowers, and animals, etc. Freely creating with natural materials helped students to get new feelings and immerse themselves into nature, expressing their artistic talents through each brushwork.

Organizing community projects towards young people’s composition activities, the representative of Chi Thien Fund for Children shared that nowadays, children spend too much time on smart devices. Therefore, this activity will be a playground for the art of creation, so that children can unleash their passion for art, as well as immerse themselves into the fresh natural environment by the Huong River.

Joining the drawing activity, Minh Phuong shared excitedly: “Today, I draw on the leaf a gorgeous beetle. Drawing on leaves is more novel than drawing on paper; so, I love that”.

On the familiar green chalkboard, under the skillful hands of Ms. Le Thi Loc Phuong, an art teacher from Tu Ha Primary School No. 1 (Huong Tra Ward), the heritage sites of Hue such as Ngu Phung Pavilion, Thien Mu Pagoda’s bell tower, or the graceful curve of Truong Tien Bridge gradually come to life. Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.
