"The Journey of Truc Chi" exhibition, which is opened at the gallery of the Imperial Hotel, introduces to the public 132 Truc Chi works of 35 authors, including 47 works of 25 artists and 85 works of 10 students majoring in Fine & Applied Arts and Architecture of Hue University. These works were made in the workshop of "The Journey of Truc Chi" taking place from December 9-16.

The images of the Hue wedding in the old days with the possesty tray of betel nuts, wine and tea; the altar, traditional wedding costumes, etc. displayed in the exhibition "Hue traditional weddings" show the viewers distinctive beautiful traditional customs of Hue.

“Ai vo xu Hue, ai ra Bac thanh” (“Palace Music and Songs of Ancient Cities”) is the title of an art show presented by the Ancient Music Group of Tonkin and the Phu Xuan Royal Court Music & Folkloric Singing Club.

As the foreword penned by artist, author Linh Huyen goes, "The wisdom in Truong Be's lacquer paintings has been so far accumulated into a so-called ‘complex’, contributing to the visual art treasure of mankind."

Despite working as an Information Technology (IT) specialist, Mr. Phan Anh Dzung (born in 1958) has deep affinity with Han-Nom (Sino-Vietnamese hieroglyphics), and thus he has developed useful software, contributing to the conservation and development of Nom scripts heritage and bringing the ancient hieroglyphics into present-day being.

Young people are having the opportunity to experience and make Truc Chi at "The Journey of Truc Chi" workshop, taking place from December 9-16.

On the afternoon of December 10, Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with University of Arts - Hue University opened the “Meeting” exhibition at Le Ba Dang Art Museum.
