On the afternoon of December 8, Union of Arts and Literature Associations, Association of Fine Arts of Thua Thien Hue province in cooperation with Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Hue and University of Arts, Hue University opened a fine art exhibition on the occasion of Vietnam Fine Arts Day (December 10).

At 15:10 on December 7, 2017 (Vietnam time), at the twelfth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage taking place in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, the art of Bai Choi in Central Vietnam was officially added to the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

From November 30, 2017 to February 28, 2018, the public will have a chance to contemplate ancient images and keepsakes in traditional weddings at the showroom with the theme “ Hue traditional weddings” opened by Hue Cultural Museum this morning ( November 30).

At the 2017 Fine Arts Camp at Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts on October 11th-25th, 2017, there are 3 artists from Hue. They are Nguyen Duy Linh, Dang Mau Triet and Le Van Nhuong. Seven of their artworks were selected for display among 28 works by 14 painters from all over the country.

They are skilled artists. Their names are not only known nationwide as prominent artists, but also as prestigious teachers.

First established and identified in Hue more than 5 years ago, Trucchi has spread into the community and contributed to the Vietnamese field of art with a new art form called trucchigraphy.

"Conservation and promotion of world cultural heritages’ values" was the theme of the workshop co-organized by Hue city and South Korean city of Gyeongju on November 14.

Thanh Hoa Museum, located on Truong Thi St., Thanh Hoa City, was established in 1983. A special thing of the museum is there are many 1:1 stone artifacts on display on campus such as statues of people and animals in the Le Dynasty's times, cannons of the Nguyen Dynasty, etc.

This expansion is expected to take place in 2018 to find out more about the scale and the layout of the stacked stone foundation, and carefully study the function of this architectural structure.

In both the East and the West, the circle is of important significance not only in conception but also in decoration and architecture.
