Focusing on promoting the featured cultural values of the Ancient Capital
HNN.VN - That was the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Dung at the conference to deploy the mission in 2019 of the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, which was held on the afternoon of January 8.

The conference was attended by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Thanh Ha; and Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission, Mr. Nguyen Thai Son.
Mr. Nguyen Dung noted that the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports should actively advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee leaders the breakthrough and strategic solutions to develop the sector in a number of fields, such as promoting the values of monuments beyond Hue ancient relics, renovating the organization and performance of Hue singing (“Ca Hue”), aiming at developing Hue singing into an economic service industry, serving the important tourism sector of the province.
Besides, it is necessary to focus on appropriate solutions to complete the tasks and targets set in 2019 and in the following years, so as to promote the featured cultural values of Hue Ancient Capital. Among them, there are specific tasks such as building a project to set up the "Following Uncle Ho's youth in Hue" tour, and coordinating with the Provincial Department of Tourism and Hue Festival Center to study the project of organizing Four Seasons Festival, as well as organizing art performances in some locations of Hue city.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Thanh Ha was authorized by the President to award the First-Class Labor Medal to Mr. Phan Tien Dung, Director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports; the Third-Class Labor Medal to athlete Tran Thi Yen Hoa; and the Excellent Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports.
