In addition to vibrant art and culture programs in the open air, the 2018 Hue Festival also introduces to the public valuable works in the exhibition called "Art Connection" at Le Ba Dang Art Center.

“Royal Hue’s Essence” officially premiered in Hue Festival 2018 on the evening of April 28 at Can Chanh Palace – The Citadel. This art program is a story in which historical events are sequenced to highlight the five cultural heritages of Hue City.

The exhibition introduces more than 70 of the most valuable pieces of the ordered porcelains of the Le - Trinh, Nguyen Lords and Nguyen dynasties which spanned over 300 years.

On April 26, Diem Phung Thi Arts Center (previously known as Diem Phung Thi Art Gallery) was officially opened to visitors at the new venue at 17 Le Loi.
