More 3D products about Hue cultural heritage received

HNN.VN - At the handover ceremony held on January 16, Hue Monuments Conservation Center received from An Thi Vietnam Company and Toan Dung Media Company the database and 3D products about Long Van Khe Hoi painting (Dieu De pagoda), Hai Van Gate relic and video showing VNGuide App.

Particularly for 3D products about Long Van Khe Hoi, Hue Monuments Conservation Center will donate it to Dieu De Pagoda as a scientific basis for the preservation of the painting later.

Using 3D scanning technique to establish a database of some relics belonging to the Complex of Hue Monuments is an activity coordinated by Hue Monuments Conservation Center with many partners. The international partners include Korea and US, while the national ones are An Thi Vietnam Company, Toan Dung Media Company - the leading units of Vietnam in this field.

Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said: "Only does this method provide an overall and complete view of the space and the status of a monument. The databases obtained from this method are very beneficial for storage and ensure sustainability. On the basis of cooperation with partners, we aim to go further in the cooperation and development of scientific and technological applications in the study and preservation of Hue cultural heritages.
