At first, they just tried to type the beat 2-4, but after joining the game, the guests from the foggy country excitedly participated in the playhouses.

Tony Martin, a member of the group shared: “This game is very fun, from how to chant the songs of the game to how to knock wooden sticks. We all participated as a boisterous team. Thank you for letting us experience with the locals. This game is so fun! Vietnam is so interesting. We love Viet Nam!”

At the end of the game, Eddie Thorn – the winner, thanked his guide companion beside him and did not forget to share the prize with him. The British guy was excited: “Having been able to play and receive prizes, I'm probably the luckiest person in the group. Thank you for creating conditions for us to participate in meaningful folk games and experience Tet holiday in rural area. This is a memorable memory in my journey to discover Vietnam!”

Ms. Truong Thi Thuong, a tour guide said, that this was a 10-day tour through Vietnam of the group from the UK. During 2 days in Hue, the group visited the Imperial Citadel, tombs, pagodas, and discovered the city. Today, the group travelled by motorbike, including activities to experience the countryside market, visit a farmer's house, Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge... “Playing Bai choi is an interesting surprise because they think people stay at home during Tet, not having many exciting activities like that,” said Ms.Thuong.

Old lady Nguyen Thi Can, a singer in folk game Bai choi in Thuy Thanh, said that sometimes the festival also welcomes groups of foreign guests. “We explain the rules of the game and send someone to support each hut so that guests know how to play cards. We hope that many groups will come here to make the tourism of the village vibrant and bring the culture of playing Bai choi of our hometown far away,” said Ms Can.
